At Cupori, we pride ourselves on being a leading producer of copper tubes in the Nordic region and a key player in the European industrial market. Built on a rich legacy of Finnish copper craftsmanship, our company is dedicated to delivering sustainable, high-quality copper solutions that meet the evolving needs of our global customers.

Our story

The story of Cupori begins with a rich legacy of Finnish copper production, tracing back to the early 20th century. When the copper mines of Outokumpu began operations in 1914, it set the foundation for a long history of innovation, craftsmanship, and reliability in copper manufacturing. This legacy grew throughout the 20th century, with Pori becoming a major hub of copper processing and tube production.

In 2008, Cupori was born out of Outokumpu’s renowned copper tube division. With a commitment to sustainability and modern manufacturing, Cupori quickly established itself as a key player in the European copper market. Today, Cupori serves industries across several countries, providing high-quality copper solutions for plumbing, refrigeration, medical gas installations, and a variety of industrial applications. Since 2022 Cupori is fully owned by the Swedish investment company Lazarus Industriförvaltning AB.

But the Cupori story isn’t just about heritage—it’s about leading the future of copper. We pioneered Cupori NEXT, an upcycled copper product that significantly reduces the carbon footprint without compromising on performance or quality. By leveraging recycled copper and innovating within the circular economy, we ensure that our products are sustainable, durable, and fit for modern industry needs.

Most importantly, Cupori is able to upcycle copper used by its neighboring companies, creating a circular production process that significantly lowers our carbon footprint.

The Kupariteollisuuspuisto provides us with immediate access to high-quality recycled copper, supporting our focus on sustainable products. This integrated approach to production not only enhances efficiency but also reinforces our commitment to sustainability, giving us the ability to meet stringent environmental standards while delivering premium copper products.

We have implemented a whistleblower reporting channel. Through this channel, you can report concerns related to, for example:
